R/C products in South Africa are very expensive, nobody is interested in selling a used heli to a stranger in SA so I am forced to buy new but as cheap as possible. The problem I am having is that I am a novice and know far too little to buy a kit and order all the "right" stuff. I've locked into Hobby King's site and ordered a HK 600 (Clone for a T-Rex 600... or so thay say). That was the easy part... getting the "right" servo's (4) from a list of hundreds proofed to be impossible. Then I battled with the motor... Still does because it makes no sence at all that a 450 Belt CP has a 3850kV motor and the much bigger T-Rex 600 only a 1100kV... Then the ESC. Suddenly I got confronted with a UBEC as an alternative and I have no idea what they are talking about... etc. etc. etc.
Please I need help. I dont want to buy over/under rated items but want to be sure that what I buy does communicate and work well for 3D flying as well as sport flying and hoovering. Can anybody give me a list of items I have to get in order to fly the helli.
I would hate to be stuck with my Belt CP... I really want something bigger and stronger.
