I have been doing my research and talked to a lot of hobby guys. I have a local hobby shop that sells the e-flight and that is what im looking to get. I was told the blade 120sr is a great first choce. I am new to the rc heli world. I have also seen the blade sr. I know its a more advanced heli and only a few dollars more than the 120sr. Question is, will the sr be too advanced for a first timer like myself? please reply and get me started. Thanks guys.

The Blade 120sr is a micro single rotor heli that is good indoors, but will not tolerate any breeze outside. The Blade SR is a more advanced single rotor that can be flown outside, I would not recommend it for your first bird unless you get a flight simulator and some experienced help.My recommendation for true beginners is the Blade CX2. It is a co-axial helicopter that is stable and good to learn on and can be flown outdoors in calm conditions.

Hi,
Trust me....get the mCX2 (I have the mCX s300). You can fly it in your living room and get use to all the different movements a Heli can do in simple flight......plus there's none of the set up worries of the other single blades.
I have the s300, CX3, mSR and SR. Needless to say, the s300 is the only one I can still fly (the CX3 did'nt crash, but too big for living room and others have slight damage...feathering shaft and landing skid).
I just pulled out my s300 yesterday after months and it's like I never put it away!
Good luck.
