Hi everyone! Having recently being bitten hard by the "heli bug". I have a question for everyone. I'm shopping around for a radio I can use and grow with as I progress with helicopters. My goal is eventually work my way into 3D. I have been leaning toward a 6 ch Spektrum. Is this a good choice or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks for any advice you can give.

The DX7 would be a good choice.

If your aspirations include larger nitro helis don't get less than a DX7

Thanks guys for your input.  I'm going to do some shopping around for either the DX7 or DX8.  It'll be a while before I have the $$$ to purchase, but it never hurts to plan ahead, right?

It will save you buying twice if you get a decent radio.

If all you plan to fly is electric then 6 channel will be fine but if you plan on getting into the bigger or nitro powered stuff you will appreciate the flexability a good radio will give you.
