I have just bought my first 'large' battery powered R/C Helicopter - a Shuang-Ma 'Double Horse' 9118.
While playing around with it, I notice that the tail rotor (which rotates parallel with the ground) only operates when I fly the helicopter backwards. Is this correct?
Looking forward to some interesting learning experiences here!
Thanks.

does it fly forward? seems like this type when flying fwd the tail motor would turn 1 way then when going backwards it would switch direction and rotate the opposite way. seeing as the main blades only make it go up and down and the 2 set rotate opposite of each other to stabalize it and give it the "gyro" effect.</p>
