Default Help needed Please

I just received a Heli-Max EC145 and I am trying to fly it with my new Tactic TTX650. I think I programed the transmitter correctly but when I start to add power the rear rotor starts spinning before the main rotor, causing the heli to spin on the ground. As this is my first CP heli I have no clue whats up. Even if I can get it to lift off all it does is spin. What did I do wrong? Is there a problem with the heli? I used the info in the manual for the setup but I got lost when it came time for a lot of it as the transmitter and the manual don't speak the same language to me. Again this is my first CP heli and the first time I have tried the Tactic TTX650 radio. Thanks for your help.

Hello guys,

There are lots of viewers but apparently very few participants and helpers.

If your query is concerning general subjects there is a fair chance of receiving an answer or some comments.

In the case of a specific heli and controller then someone has to have some experience with the same or very similar units and perhaps have to have had the similar problem and managed to solve it. Then they are in a position to help.

I had normal everyday questions, but when I saw that Chris' question went unanswered I questioned that. Probably shouldn't have but ...

Chris,

I don't know the heli or transmitter - but you might want to check the wires for the tail are the correct way around...this would cause it to just spin the tail out of control. the tail rotor should turn counti-clockwise when you look at the right side of the heli - i.e.it counters the rotation of the heli caused by the rotation of the main rotors. Also make sure you plug the battery in on a flat service so all gyros are initialised correctly.

Thanks

Chris
