Default beginner manual help

I'm lost .....
I have a new heli and I'm afraid of it................
kidding..

can someone suggest a good manual that will take me from beginner through acrobatics.
I am looking for a manual that will explane the most bacis setup to an advance acrobatic setup.
I have only heard of Rays but I also read in here that that manual might be a little outdated..
any suggestions ?

I would get ray's.

it's a good start and is very good, even though it is a little bit outdated.

Thing is though that helis, at least in principle, haven't changed very much, so i think that this would be a good place to start

Good Luck

Or you can try http://www.dream-models.com/h/flying-index.html. Seems like a good lesson in what to do.

Don't just get the manual... get in person help fom soeone ho has succeeded already.

A new heli's first flight is its most dangerous one. Add an nuskilled person at the control and you are asking to break the model (if not hurt yourself in the process.)

the formula is:

Untrimmed aircraft = strike 1
unskilled pilot = strike 2
Engine starts = strike 3 you're out $500. (if you are lucky)

get flight sim first. Realflight G2 is 299$ but it holds it's value very well. I hunted on ebay for weeks and people were still paying $170 for a used USB Realflight G2.

also check out raptortechnique.com awesome awesome resource for heli's
