I Heard the cooling on the Raptor sucks, i know it did on the V! but hows the V2? and are there any aftermarket upgrades besides a fan to help this?

Where did you hear that? I've had a V1 for three years and have never had a problem with it over heating. If your heli is over heating, it's because it is not setup right, it has nothing to do with the design of the heli (with the Raptors anyway).

The V1 has an open front shroud so some folks made a baffle that is reported to keep more air on the head. the V2 has a longer shroud, so the baffle isn't needed. with that said, i did have problems with the TT 39 overheating occasionally. on the same heli, the OS 50 runs cool (160f) even when it is 110 out.

The TT39 seemed to work best around 200-230 for me, its pretty common for that engine to run a bit hot in any heli.
