Problems Testing Used FEDA Dragonfly III
Just bought a used Dragonfly III heli. Everything seems to work ok except the elevator servo motor. When I turn the tx on, it begins to chatter. When I try to control the elevator servo with the tx, it continues to chatter (oscillate). It does this the entire time the tx is on.
Any ideas on this? Do I need a new servo or just trim it some how?
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
That would be your servo jumping gears. Some guys will work on them, but it's usually worthwhile to replace it.

Sorry, I usually get my stuff from the local shop. I do all Century products, so if I do order online, it's from www.heli-world.com
Check 'em out, they carry lots of stuff for other brands too, I believe they might even have micro servos.

I have a 4 cnhl fm smartech tx. Haven't been able to locate a mini servo on the Internet that's compatible yet. I guess I'll try some local hobby shops unless some folks have some other thoughts.
Thanks again for all the help!
