Default hawk sport parts bag

I picked up my hawk yesterday and I have noticed that parts bag 5 is missing, the only thing in the bag should be some screws according to the manual, has anyone else had this problem or know something about it ?

Mine was the same way. Don't worry they are in another bag. I think the manual is older and the just did away with bag 5 because there is a lot already assembeled.

Yes... the amnual assumes you are putting EVERYTHING together. They kind of need an update because its a little confusing in some places as to which steps are done already. (they didn't do them in order... some small steps are skipped seemingly "at random" if yuo don't carefully read through the manual.)

Be VERY careful cheking the flybar for burs at the ground flats. Gently file off any burs found or you will have problems connecting the linkages.

another thing I noticed, where the tail rotor drive shaft connects to the tail rotor assembly they tell you to put locktight on the shaft and not the set screws then on the same page they tell you to put it on the set screws and say nothing about the shaft. pg.23
