Is it really neccesary to purchase a 1 mm. drill from Dremel to construct a Raptor .30 V2 ? Or will a normal powerdrill also do ?

What do you need it for anyway ?

I don't know what you would need it for? I built a Raptor 50 v2 and I never needed one, and they are pretty much the same heli. I did have to grind a little bit of the frame away to get one of the screws in my heavy duty on/off switch, but it was no big deal. I would think any drill would work.
