Default Shuttle Plus

Help guys,

I got a Shuttle Plus in a swap. It has a Enya 35, servos, gyro, JR 783 transmitter in "heli" mode. No manual. I start it up with 2 turns out on the needle. As I advance the throttle the engine starts to smoke, the engine revs up, the collective head moves up, but the Shuttle just sits there smoking away. I throttle down fearing I may blow up the engine. I had a Shuttle 10 years ago so I'm a little familiar with this. The throttle and collective are in sync, but no indication of it getting "light" on the gear. I'm using training gear to learn all over again just to be safe. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

The weather has finally cleared up. I'll try in the morning with the needle turned in a little. I'll let you know. Thanks.
