Hi all,
I'm about to head down to the LHS to place an order for my first heli.
It's been recomended to me by a heli flyer at my club that I get:
A Raptor V2 50
4 x 811 servos
1 x 401 gyro & 9253 servo
I'll be using a Hitec Eclipse 7 radio
Do these servos do the trick for the V2 50?
also, does the V2 50 come with an engine? and what receiver should I use?
my budget isn't huge!
cheers
Ben

- The kit probaly won't come with an engine, unless it says so. If it doesn't, then may I recommend to get an OS 50.
- Those are digital servo's from JR, are they not ? They will deffinetly do the trick.
- don't really know about the reciever ...

I have the very setup that you describe and the helicopter flies fantastic. I am using the receiver that came with a flight pack (JR) but would have no problem using the stock Hitec receiver. I have the stock receiver installed in another ship. I ordered my 50 V2 with an OS 50. Setup was a piece of cake with the Eclipse radio.
