Hummingbird battery problem
Hi
Would appreciate some advice on a problem I'm having with my Hummingbird.
I bought a 2nd hand Hummingbird which came with 3 batteries. All 3 came charged and worked fine. Since then I've not been able to charge them (or more precisely they don't appear to be charging as the heli just cuts out as soon as any throttle is applied). I'm using a UK charger Input 230v - 50Hz. Output 12v 300mA. Would appreciate advice on the following:
* How long should I charge the batteries for?
* Should the batteries become warm during charging? (They don't, but I thought I read somewhere that they should)
* What do I need to do or get to be able to test the batteries?
Thanks
Nick

RE: Hummingbird battery problem
I just recently bought a Hummingbird Elite, new w/ the 8.4v birdseed batteries and it says they should charge in a Hour and half. But I,ve found out it usually takes about 3 hours w/ the charger you have(I have the same one) also they should start getting hot around 2 hours. Later!

RE: Hummingbird battery problem
The best thing to do is get yourself a good peak charger, you should be able to get one pretty cheap. That way you know your batteries are fully charged, those wall chargers aren't much good.
