From what I have read, some people say it will and some say it wont.
My Hummingbird takes a 8.4 but I put a lithium 2 cell, 7.4 volt, 2100mah in it, and it works great and the heli has all kind of power. I get about 20 minutes of flying. The way I looked at it, better safe then sorry, so I used the 7.4 volt.

I've used an 8.4 volt Li po in my aerohawk with no problem, flight times are a little longer.

Do you have a link to where you bought the 8.4 li-po? I have never heard of them, I didn't even know they made them, I thought they jumped from 7.4 to 11.1, I would like to see the 8.4. If you don't have a link, maybe you could show us a picture?

P.S
How many cells is it? A 7.4 is 2 cells and 11.1 is 3 cells, how many cells is an 8.4?

the 8.4 is a bettery that came with another micro that I bought and promptly destroyed. Here is a link to the heli that it came with...

[link=http://www4.mailordercentral.com/heliproz/prodinfo.asp?number=213020]http://www4.mailordercentral.com/heliproz/prodinfo.asp?number=213020[/link]

I'm no battery expert, but the bettery was listed in the instructions a an 8.4 volt 1000mah Li-po

Hope this helps

I'm not sure about that, you will have to do some more research, or maybe someone else can help you.
