I know this is going to be a dumb question but here goes. Is the TX and RX on the same freq? and are they on the same shift?

the rx (PCM mode) in the heli has 72.710 (ch 46) and works fine with the tx (pcm mode) that came with it. i took this crystal and installed it to the t6xa but no response at all. thanks for the reply.

Don't know if your crystal is compatible with a Futaba Tx. You will also need to make sure that the receiver is compatible with the Futaba Tx.

If your Rx is PCM, you must have the Tx set to PCM mode to get it to work. Make sure you turn the Tx power off and back on after changing modes.

Oh and by the way, changing Tx crystals is illegal in the US, so don't mention this to any of your FCC friends.

rx is indeed PCM. i tried setting the futaba tx in either PCM or PPM and cycled power as the manual stated, still ni response. do u u think i should just buy a new crystal for the RX to match the crystal that came originally with the futaba? or should i just buy a set (tx and rx) of crystals, in the same original channel labeled at the back of the futaba tx? ---thanks guys
