Tx Question
Hi there,
Am about to get a JR 7ch Tx for my new heli: a T-Rex. I also fly electric planes though: Aerobird Xtreme RTF. Question is are 7ch more than enough in the long run whether I fly other electric helis or planes. Other option is a JR 9 channel, but this costs a hell of a lot more and does anyone use all 9 channels anyway?
Appreciate advice.

RE: Tx Question
Yes the 7 channel will provide enough channels for you, in general. Not sure if anyone uses all 9 channels, well I know some do, but most don’t. The people using all 9 or more channels are usually flying scale aircraft. Most of us buy the radios we do not for the number of channels, but for the number and type of mixes it is capable of, the ease of programming, how it feels in your hands etc. I have a JR8103 and use it for all 4 of my planes and my Raptor 50.
For $10 more I suggest you also take a look at the 8103 and compare it to the 378. My buddy flies with the 378, it is a good radio, but he always says he wished he had the 8103. After 15 years of flying planes and helis I am sure the 8103 is a radio I will not likely ever out grow. However, that doesn’t mean I will never replace it. I really like the new 9303 and wish I had known it was coming out 3 weeks after I bought my 8103. I’d have waited.
