Anyone know if the 6mm starting tool for the Thunder tiger raptor will work on the Kyosho caliber heli? It uses a 6mm starting tool also. Is there a difference in starting tools? Kyosho is pretty proud of there's. They won't some where around $35.00 for there's.

It depends on if the calibers start shaft is driven. I know it is on the concepts and Nexus's (nexi?)
If the start shaft spins at engine RPM you'll need a shaft with a 1 way bearing. Heliproz and Ricks both carry them for reasonable prices. I know on the Nexus if you put a hex adapter on it and try to start it w/o a 1 way you shear the pin on the start shaft because the engine tries to spin the starter and it can't do it and something breaks.
