Default Dragonfly Stability Question

I have a honeybee 2 (CP) and have had no problems with it. My son seemed interested in the hobby so I bought him a walkera dragonfly (FP) as the fixed pitch were supposed to be more stable. The thing is, that little dragonfly is SQUIRRELY!!! I was thinking of reducing the pitch on the blades to allow the motor to spool up to a higher rpm, and hopefully give the heli a little more stability due to the rotor system itself acting as a big gyro. What do yall think?? Also, is there a way to adjust the gain and or the proportion like I can on my HB2? My son's came with a Zhen??? TX, and a 3-in-1 RX.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Whatever gave you that idea? FP are less stable, due to their lower head speed. FP helis do have advantages (robustness, simplicity, less likely to damage furniture, less costly to repair) but I would not count stability among them.

This is a common way to add stability (and also improves behavior outdoors) Cutting the trailing edge of FP blades is a very effective way to reduce pitch.

exactly what is meant by cutting the trailing edge? and how much? I don't want to ruin blades trying to figure this one out. My humblebee is really squirrly too and i have spent a lot of money on parts...not that i don't enjoy it
