Default TREX Engine cuts out when spooling up?

I noticed on the second flight that the motor on TREX (Align Motor) cuts out just before lift off? I unplugged and tried again, and the problem repeated about 4 times before it held on and I was able to fly. Any ideas?

I'm using an CC45 ESC, could it be that the battery leads are too long? I've been meaning to trim them back.

What Battery, what motor, what pinion?
Do you know what version of software your ESC is running? (Pretty much requires the Phoenix Link)
What parameters are you using on the ESC?
