RE: Rear Tail Motor Or Direct Drive
Skete:
The tails that have motors have an mixing board. Its a little computer board that tells the tail motor when to turn and how much to turn in relation to the main rotors. Direct drive or belt drive systems dont have that it has a belt that drives the tail rotor. The revolutions is already calculated when its deisgned and the direction. Most are pusher systems. In my opnion the belt system is better. If you wanted to keep the two motors and get rid of the mixing board then you need to go "seperates" this is where there is two speed controllers and a gyro, also you need to have mixing on your radio to program in how much and when the tail motor will operate.
Hope this helps.
