have a os max .32 engine I found that is in perfect condition it has a start cone for lack of better word on shaft with nut does any one know size of nut and should I use an extended socket to get it off?

Sounds like an airplane forum question. You take the cone off with phillips head screws or a hex key, under that is the prop nut which requires a wrench (open, box, deep or not socket, or worst case scenario adjustable wrench). I'm kinda wondering why you'd ask such a quesiton on the forum if you got the engine right there in front of you?
