Default Tail Rotor Problem

Ok, so I recieved my helicopter today and flown it a couple times. Everything went fine. BUT... my tail rotor all of a sudden stopped functioning. Every cable is plugged it, no wires seem ripped, batteries charged, everything works, but the tail rotor. Can someone please help me out with this issue?

Another question I have is: I'm using RealFlight G2 flight simulator, I want to use my own transmitter. I plug the sim cable into my computer and into the transmitter. I start the simulator up and a windows comes up stating that RealFlight will install the latest drivers for my transmitter. I wait a little (music plays) and an error pops up saying that there is no transmitter detected. I tried FMS and my transmitter didn't work either. How can I get this to work???

Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

P.S. The nearest hobby shop is about 70 miles away (back in Mount Prospect, IL).

I assume your talking about a micro heli? You probably need new motor on the tail, the stock motors are junk (they don't last long at all). I have read where people have only got 10 flights on them and had to change them.

Umm the heli I am using is a DragonFly 4CH.
I got the tail motor working; wasn't getting enough battery power.
REFLEX XTR and Windows do not reconize my transmitter.

Does anyone make a tail motor that will last that is NOT brushless?

Not that I know of. If you go into the electric heli forum someone might be able to help you in there.

I didn't manage but that does not say it can't be done. Bought a USB cable on eBay and voila....

(Well not quite, actually a p... in the a.. to set up... )

Tail motors don't last long unless you put a heat sink or 2 on it. It'll help but they will still wear out pretty quick..
