Default mini dragonfly more user friendly???

I am trying to get my mini dragonfly more stable. Someone told me that by shortening the blades that would help. Is there anything esle I can do to make it more user friendly and easier to fly? I'll try almost anything. Thanks!

What components do you have? An onboard mixing board? Seperates?
A good head hold gyro like the Futaba GY240 helps a lot, by keeping the tail tame.

Cutting the blades can help, but it requires lots of changes. It raises the head speed at hover, giving more gyroscopic stability.
Putting wheel collars on the flybars, out by the paddles helps also.

Hi Andy98801
As you can tell. This is my first one and know nothing about it. I have just grown a little older and I got a goal in mine. I want to be able to fly from one side of my yard ,over the fence and land on the hot tub and be able to fly back with out a crash. Oh ,by the way I have to fly over the swimming pool. If it takes better equipment, lessons, practice, what ever, I AM
GOING TO DO IT. Any help you can give me will be appreciated and If anyone else has any ideas
write me a note. I will continue to be on line till this old man's dream comes true. WHO'S OLD
You are only as old as you feel. Some days 20, some days 60. Oh WELL .
Talk to you later, Tommy AZ
