FF6 odd channel assignments
Hi,
I've just purchased my first Heli, a raptor 30, and have acquired a futaba FF6. Everything seems ok, except for some odd behaviour from the transmitter / reciever.
When I move the rudder stick the servo in channel 1 on the reciever moves, and when I move the aileron stick the servo in channel 4 moves. This was odd I thought, as channel 1 is meant to be the aileron and channel 4 the rudder, however not a problem, just swap round the servos in the Rx so the sticks are moving the servos I expect them to.
Even odder, is when I turn on the revo mixing on the trannie is that it correctly mixes the servo in channel 4 with the throttle.
So channel 1 and 4 seem to be switched - so you think the revo mixing would affect channel 1 as you move the throttle, but it doesn't it affects channel 4 (which is a problem as I have my left / right collective plugged in there, not my tail rotor servo)
If the RX is making the 'wrong' servo move when I move the rudder stick, why does it make the 'correct' servo move under the influence of revo mixing?
Any ideas?
Both Rxs I have are fairly old, one is an FP-R107N the other is an FP-R118F and both show this behaviour.

RE: FF6 odd channel assignments
Guess I should RTFM.
Found the answer on page 5 of the manual. The trannie was in mode 4. I like mode 2. Job done.
