Hello
Love the site guys, very nice. I am new to Helis and would like to learn how to fly them. I have been flying planes for almost 6 years now. I purchased 2 brand new Hirobo Shuttle Plus kits. I have both of them built w/O.S.32sx engines, all stock including blades. The radio is a JR8103 / 8chnl , R700 rx. Both have Futaba GY 401 gyros. Is there an article that would have the best setup for this heli & radio combo? Or could someone send me instructions on how to set it up properly....like best pitch for begginers, radio presets ect. Any help would be a step in the rite direction. I have been using the RealFlight simulator for a while. I have had 1 of the helis running but when I get the nerve to throttle up it doesnt do alot, it trys to take off but just sorta hops around. The blades are set at 6 degree but the instruction book is not what you call user freindly and im not real good at Japanesse. Like i said these were KITS that I assembled from the same instruction book....lol. I have been using the training gear untill I can feel comfortable to fly without....is this a good thing or should I trash the training gear? So if anyone would be willing to give me a hand I would forever be in their debt. I am told this JR8103 radio is good for this Heli but cant find alot of info on presets for this particular Heli. Well, Thankyou all for taking the time to read my post and anything would help me at this point. Have a great day.

This should get you in the right direction for the gyro.

For training you want 0 at bottom stick 5 degrees at hover and 10 at the top
As you progress add more negative pitch. When you start moving around you want -2 or -3
You will end up with plus/minus 9 or 10 depending on how strong your engine is.
