Hey guys,

I'm new to helis... I just bought a Kyosho Cal. 30 w/ Futaba 7CHF and the GY401 Gyro. I Just finished putting everything together as per the manual, but I am having a hard time programming my Futaba 7CHF in order to work correctly with my GY401... I have read all over the place that you should first put it in regular (non-hh) mode, and then get it trimmed out (find a neutral position) then flick some "switch" 3 times in order to lock the neutral to the AVCS mode. I cant seem to find this switch that you flick 3 times, how do I set that up? I have my radio in INH mode for the Gyro, with it on "GY" mode... I dont quite understand how to switch between Heading Hold and Regular mode, how do I do this?

Also, say if I do get it setup in AVCS mode, which gain settings do I want to use? the ones on the gyro, or the ones in the radio software?

Anyway would be realyl appreciated, i've tried for 5 hours to figure this out but the manual makes no sense to me.

Basically i'm having tons of trouble getting the gyro set up, I understand everything else with the main rotor, but the gyro is just very confusing..

Wow I cant begin to thank you enough! After reading through all that stuff, I finally got it setup right and took my heli out for its first hover, It couldnt have gone any better!
