Default Looking at helicopter

I will be advancing to pirouette hovering next week. I still have training gear on heli and I find myself looking at the gear. I know this is a bad habit to get into.

To all heli pilots: What part of heli do you watch when flying???

I watch the heli body (canopy, skids, tail boom)... you'll find that most helis hang at a slight angle in a stable hover...

I have my training gear on, but I find myself extremely uncomfortable using the ping-pongs as my guidance. I'm an amateur, but like just said, I tend to watch my canopy, my tail fan, the table, and I know my antenna is on my right skid. that's usually enough. I've actually crashed once because I was paying too much attention to the training gear and lost the true orientation of the heli...
