Default cal 30 set up please help

beginner .I can hover electric one ok.set up cal 30 in mms and when I hit throttle right side of swash does not move up and one blade does not pitch Set up to manuel specs -65 ail -65 ele +65 pitch and the servos reversed as in futaba set up shown.Should I set up in mms or is ems alot harder to fly.

So you set it up with mechanical mixing? What radio do you have? What swash type did you select?

MMS stands for Mechanical Mixing System, and EMS stands for Electronic Mixing System. With your radio (7C) you have support for EMS which I would say is better than MMS due to simplicity. If I were you I would start over and set it up for EMS, thats what I did and i'm a beginner too. I took one look at MMS and personally, I think i'd trust the electronics over mechanics.

Your problem is that you set it up for mechanical mixing (H1), but then chose eCCPM/EMS mixing for your radio (HR3)!

In the beginning I called futaba and they told me to set up in hr3 but I guess the person I talked to is wrong.hr3 is for ems and h1 is for mms
