Default help choosing new transmiter

i am a noob looking for a new transmitter i would like to stick with airtronics or jr as i have mostly possitive shift recievers. i am trying to stay in a middle price range. and am wondering what models and features to look for. i have a blade cp coming but am looking to move to an align t rex next and maybe a 30class nitro in the future and want one radio that will cary me all the way.

Have you looked at the JR 6102? That's what I'm using, very nice tx for the price, if you ask me. It's pretty cheap too, I got mine from hobby-town for $250 and it came with 4 servo's, a reciever, a receiver battery pack, servo extension cord, and an on/off switch (plus all the usuall stuff like the frequency flags, servo horns, screws, etc.).

That's a pretty tall order. It's hard to buy a mid range price radio that will carry you all the way. Save up a little more money and get the JR 9303 radio, you will be a "loooooong" time out growing that radio (I doubt you ever will). The 9303 is a great radio and very user friendly (easy to program). When buying a radio, do it right the first time, it will save you money in the long run (you will never have to worry about buying another radio).

I use a 9303 and it will mix more than you would ever want to. It has ALL the features you could ask for, very good investment. And this will be an investment.

My pick would be the JR 9303 if you want to spend the less the JR 8103 is still a great radio, and it's what I use, but it has a lower price than the 9303. Less than the 8103 from JR isn't worth the time or money for a heli since you'll want more in short order.

I think from Airtronics it'd have to be the RD8000.

Very helpful. Shows a lot of information on all the radios named.
