I am totally new to heli's, but have been into rc planes for a while. I have always wanted something that I could fly inside. Does anyone have a recommendation for a easy to fly indoor heli? I was thinking of buying a blade runner 2 to play around with here at college and ask Santa
for a XRB. All thoughts welcome,

Go for the XRB. Thats what I fly in my house.
Its a extremely high quality heli made specifically for indoor flying, and worth every cent. I still fly mine around. Its just a fun helicopter, and you cant beat it for a beginner.
Heres a video of me flying the XRB.

What Flyboy said, and if you could use a Gym or something if you wanted indoor and no wind. Just don't fire her up in your dorm room while throwing back some cold ones........
Finding someone who flies heli's to help is priceless and the best advise I could ever give when starting out. Good Luck.

I hear the walkera 4 is a good beginer heli as well, they're supposed to be pretty easy to fly and cheap to fix as well as VERY sturdy.

Iv got a walkera dragonfly #4 and iv crashed it times beyond count it is incredibly tough, and good for the price. Mine isnt flying at the moment because of burnt electrics but thats my fault an loads of people do fly them well.

There is no tail rotors on any of the coaxial heli's there is no need for one because the rotors cancel out the torque effect that the tail rotor is used for.It is just a nonfunctional bit of bling that the companies put on them.
