WHAT THE HELI'S GOIN-ON" I don't know my A-- from first base about heli's so I am trying to learn on a reflex sim I have for 3D planes, HEY THIS IS MORE FUN THAN PLANES!!! but I need to know what channels do what so on the off chance I learn to fly these "buzzing kitchen appliances" I will at less know what sticks to push? right now I have the Pitch on Channel 1 /the Ail on channel 2 / the elevator channel 3 and the tail rotor on channel 4. How wrong or right is that.? Also how does a sim compare to the real worlds of heli's? on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being truly real world. THanks, i knew you heli-people would be nice. "I could do this for days!!!

Futaba type channel assignments (mode 2):
Channel 1: Aileron: ROLL : cyclic : Right stick left/right
Channel 2: Elevator: nose up/down : Right stick fore/aft
Channel 3: Throttle : Power: Left stick fore/aft
Channel 4: Rudder: Anti-Torque: Tail Rotor : Left stick left/right
Channel 5: Gyro Gain/mode control (hopefully some easy to understand menu in your TX)
Channel 6: Collective Pitch: Left stick fore/aft

tippy: the heli's in the sim's are easier to rebuild when you crash them ...

I just bought this sim and am packing it back up to send back tommorrow. It does not have an idle up, so you can not learn to do any type of upside down stuff. It does have really cool graphics, but as far as flying it is not too close. It was kinda hard to get settled down enough to fly, and I can fly my helis pretty good. Don't get me wrong you will be able to learn some of the basics like hovering and forward flight, just don't expect too much more.
