I am thinking of getting a heli. Not Gas!!!! I have been flying planes for 2 or 3 years and i taught my self how to fly. What helicopters are there out there that i can learn how to fly without a trainer. I really don't have the time to get a trainer. I was looking at the micro helicopters and they looked cool. Off course i have no idea what i am talking about. I don't care if it is 4 or 6 channels because i have radios of that size.
So what should i get?

Try the new Blade CX counterrotating heli from Horizon, I hear they are very stable indoors but don't handle much wind outside they come with radio charger etc. I have the Blade CP, very good for out of the box taste of heli flying.

The Blade CX is a good indoor heli. Easy to learn and easy to fly. If you want more of an outdoor heli, I would go with the Blade CP. It's a collective pitch with tail rotor and is extremely rugged. It's not very easy to learn on but it leaves a lot of room for upgrades.
I just had my first major crash today with my BCP showing off in front of the family at Thanksgiving. Forward flight nose dive into the ground. Broke a blade in half and bent the flybar just a little. That's the only damage I had. Straightened the flybar and threw on a new set of blades and I was back in business.

If i get the blade cp. Does it come with 1 or 2 bateries and does it come with the trainer gears. I also have a gws peak charger can i use this for shorter charge times. Man, 2 1/2 hours iis a lot of time. I am used to waiting 10-15 minutes. I want to set one of these things up so it as minimal downtime.

Usually the rule of thumb is, the biggest the heli the more stable it is. If you get a shogun or swift they have more mass and are heavier so they tend to be more stable. If you have a Blade CP or Trex then they are much lighter and very squirrely.
