Default Blade CX Tx modification question

My Blade CX has two modes.

1) Hover about 3-4 feet off the ground and
2) Climb to the ceiling and beyond

When I hover 3 or 4 feet off the ground and add just one little ratchet click of throttle, it goes from hover to climb without stopping.
If I ease it back one click, it slowly drops back down to 3 or 4 feet hover.

Should I correct this with trim or should I operate and remove the Tx's ratchet?
Anybody else having this issue?

Take the transmitter apart and slide a piece of fuel line over the metal ratchet thing. I did this to my CP's transmitter, makes the throttle/collective alot more precise. I need to do it to the Jr6102 I use with my Eco-8 as well, but just haven't got around to messing with it.
