Ikarus Eco-Piccolo
Gentlemen, I have a chance to buy an Ikarus Eco-Piccolo for a super price point, BUT How good a machine is it? Is it suitable for a guy who can occasionally coerce his Lama II to go where he wants it to? Could I learn to fly it without making my banker ecstatically happy? Please advise.

RE: Ikarus Eco-Piccolo
It is entirely flyable.
It is a challange. A micro FP is tough, but when set up properly, it will be very rewarding. I was hovering mine yesterday enjoying it a lot.
You are going to have to learn to be a heli mechanic. Setup on these is critical.
Go take a look at the Ikarus board for a ton of info.

The stock mixing board is usable, but I was always happier with a true head holding gyro and separate ESCs.
