Default stupid question

i am just getting into heli's.... because a freind just built a raptor 50 and is learning to fly...

my question is.......when you move the left stick to the left which way should the heli turn?

should the nose turn left or should the tail turn left?

i think the nose should turn left just like the rudder on an airplane..... but my freind says the tail should turn left making the nose turn right

i think he is wrong.... some one let me know.............................thanks cantw8tofly

You fly the nose.
Left rudder turns the nose to the left.

The way I remember it is the farthest part of the heli from you will go the way you push the rudder stick.

Or simply that right rudder rotates clockwise, left rudder rotates counter clockwise.
