Hi All,
I've been flying a Venture .30 that has JR 537 servos all around. I want to get a half decent digital TR servo. I don't want to buy a programer for it, just slap it in and go. I'm using a JR 500 T gyro. I fly wth a Hi Tec Eclipse and reciever. Does anyone have a suggestion for a inexspensive digital servo. I'm really not having problems that I notice, but I've read that I probably should be using digital for the TR. Anyone have any suggestions. I'm still a newbie. FF flight, loops and rolls, knees still knock, just not as bad, trying to learn inverted without crashing.
Thanks in advance.

Their are a lot of different servos out there you can use, it all depends on how much money you want to spend. If you don't want to spend a whole lot, JR has a sport tail servo (JR810) that sells pretty cheap, but the way I look at it is, buy a good tail servo now and you won't have to buy it later, you will need it once you start to advance with your flying. The Futaba 9254 is a real good choice if you want to spend a little more money.

Inexpensive and digital servos that are good don't really go together. Get the JR 8700 servo for the 500T gyro. To go cheaper as has been said the JR 810 is also good for it, but it's not digital.

Thanks for all the info. Ended up ordering the 810 for the venture. But I just bought a raptor .30 from the LHS, ( tired of ordering parts) and will go with a better TR servo for that one. Plan to teach my 11 yr. old son on the Venture. Have to go start building the Rappy.
