I have a Nexus 30 with an OS 32 in it and I am having a problem with the engine leaning out in hover. At idle and during take off I have a good amount of smoke coming out but once I have been hovering for about 30 seconds or so the smoke trail starts to dissappear and then the engine begins to bog out. It does not die though and once I bring it back down to idle on the ground it starts to generate a little smoke again. Currently the low end is turned out about 2 turns and the high end about 2 turns also. Which side needs adjustment on a problem like this. I have tried adjusting both but have had no luck. This is my first heli and I am only hovering right now and used to tuning airplanes so I have no idea where to go from here.
I read something about drilling a hole in the carbuerator. Is this an option and what exactly does that do for the engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Others and me posted a engine tuning part in this thread on conditions:

Possibly too lean try richening up a click or two, and check for air leaks which will make the engine run lean and inconsistent as well. Possibly getting a bit hot as well due to being lean..I'd rather have an engine a bit to rich than lean when tuning..
I am familiar with drilling a hole in an OS 46 was the only one that was nessecary for me, but I later corrected the issue with the newer carb body for the OS 46..
OS 32 Air Bleed Hole (I will not reccomend doing this-Do At Your Own Risk) I do not condone this mod!
Air bleed hole in the casing. The modification provides more air at the idle for the combustion process, thus leaning the idle for proper mixture. The air bleed is positioned so it will only provide extra air to the carburetor from 0 to about 50% throttle, at that point, the throttle barrel covers the airbleed. Supposedly some engine had issues, but with me burning 15%-30% nitro content I have never had to do this..

I checked for air leaks in the fuel tank and lines by simply putting some fuel in the tank, plugging the fuel inlet line and blowing through the exhaust line and nothing leaks out and no airbubbles inside the tank. So I think the tank and lines are OK.
When you say richening up a click or two, do you mean on the low end or high end or both?
Thanks for the link on the tuning instructions. I will use those when I take the heli out this morning. Hopefully I can get this thing tuned right. I am just starting to feel comfortable with slow forward flight and it is a little frustrating when the engine keeps slowing on me and I have to land every 30 seconds.
