Does a 2 ch. helicopter mean you can only control its up, down left, and right movement? Do you set the gyro to have it move slightly forward all the time, or what? Also, I think I understand what a 3 ch. control, but how does it differ from 4 ch.?
Most are a bit deceptive in what they are referring to, 2 ch has a counter balance on the tail rotor that works as a gyro and you have no tail control, the only controls you have are for/aft and left/right cyclic and throttle/collective are not considered a channel because they are on an ECS for the electric helis (wiht fixed pitch) or fixed throttle like on the LMH (unless you use the exhaust control but thats a different story and another ch).
a 3 ch has direct input to tail control

2Ch helicopter can only go up and down (control by 1 ch), and rotate the tail (control by another ch) - 2 channels
If you really like RC helicopter, get the 4CH left ([link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=3]you can check how the 4ch helicopter fly in this video[/link])

ok, got it. One more question though. whats the difference between a 3 ch. and a 4 ch.?
it depends on the particular setup, some electrics have fixed pitch and are called 3 ch, the LMH is called a 3 ch because it lacks throttle control.....
