Default RTF Thunderbird?

Hi all. I am new to the RC world so please be kind. I just ordered a RTF Thunderbird with video camera ( http://www.florastore.com/Products/H...ter/efh021.htm ) and would like to know if I made a decent purchase. Keep in mind that I have never flown an RC heli but have flown an SH-60F....Actually I just flew a simulator while in the Navy. But I did get the great chance to fly as a tech many times while working on them.

Anyway...Is this a decent starting point? I would love to get more expereinced for better birds in the near future. I have also downloaded a few simulators to practice with.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

To me that is pretty damn good. I got my df4 (pretty much the same heli) for NZD$169. Didn't have wireless cam or anything like that. Only a 4ch tx too. Although it's harder to get heli's in NZ I must admit I would buy that if I could get it to ship here and afford it.

Hi Kevin. This place actually is just the middle man. The stuff drop ships from Hong Kong so I am sure you could get it for the same price shipped too.

Hmmm... Well I'm saving up for the caliber 3. Don't want to spend cash at the moment...
