I buddy box and am doing the basic like hovering, nose in and landing etc. To get the club heli into a steady hover I need 1/2 stick to hover.

Bigunit,
As Barracudahockey mentioned, use the 3/4 stick method. You may have to adjust your pitch a tad, 1/2 turn or so either way. But it does make a difference in stability and control. You need the head speed.

3/4 Stick when Ideal up on or off when hovering. What about the throttle trim, off or on? If my trim is off the Blade CPP will not hover at all on full stick.

I started out at half stick and was told to change to 3/4 for idle up. Its fine either way but if youre using idle up its better to be at 3/4 stick.
