If you really want to enjoy it you'd need a 3 channel or more, preferably 4 channel. The Blade CX has a coaxial blade system which stabilizes the system while allowing almost full control. It's a great beginner heli but still requires some time to get used to. A 2 channel heli is very limited and really only goes up/down and spin left/right, that's it. There are various 40-70 dollar helis on ebay that are 3-4 channels and are good for indoor places. They aren't the best of build quality and won't impress people with professional helicopters, but are great fun nonetheless.

If you don't mind waiting a week or two you can get a Falcon 3D which comes with training gear, FMS Simulator software and cable, and it's ready to fly out of the box. All you need to do is add 8 AA batteries and charge the Lipoly that comes with it and your ready for flight. For the price, $279.00 right now it's a bargain! You can purchase it at: www.hobby-lobby.com look for Falcon 3D.
