Would this be good for me as a beginner? I fly 1/4 scale planes, and have a little 2 channel heli that i have been learning on, but it just dosen't get it. I looked at the Blade CP, but I don't want another toy heli. I'm wanting something that I can learn on, and when I'm ready for more, it will be capable of more. I am thinking this right now, with training gear of course. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...1p?&I=LZ0943** Any thoughts on this one or others that may be better for about the same money? Any input will be great.
Thanks Bob

I learned to fly helicopter's on the Blade CP. Went through alot of parts, and the good thing about the Blade CP is that the parts are not as expensive as many other helicopter parts. I still have my Blade CP and fly it around my yard often. I also have other electric helicopters that I have much more money in them and most are more stable than the Blade CP but the cost of parts and batteries for the other helicopters limits my flying them.
Give the Blade CP a try, once you learn to fly it, You should have little trouble with the more expensive helicopters.

WOW, The Trex on that site is nice. Does it come with all that is pictured in the add? If so, then it would be worth it to have all the aluminum parts, instead of having to ugrade later. What is the difference between CCPM and eCCPM? As I understand it, one is a mechanical mix, and the other is mixed in the radio. Which is better? What are the pros and cons of each?

CCPM as its commonly refered to and eCCPM are one and the same.
Advantage is less parts, lighter and more direct connection.
Disadvantage is more complicated radio setup, trashed servo gears everytime the blades hit the ground, and you need closely matched servos.
