Default Which heli should I get?

Hi guys, I was pretty set on getting the Stinger 30 until I heard someone talking about how the 50 is alot better. They also said i will grow out of the 30 very fast. Now, I am a complete noob to helis, so is that true? Should I get the 30 or 50? Obviously the 30 is my first choice since its cheaper.

Id get a Raptor 50 over any of the Ghobees or a Hirobo EVO 50. Many that start with a 30 then upgrade later just wish they had started with a 50 in the first place, why buy twice.

Buy the Raptor 50, Parts are more available and for the most part the same as a 30 and you wont grow out of it as fast.

Yeah, but a Raptor 50 is like $200 more.

Hi,

If you are going to learn to fly helis, spending money is a given. You cannot learn without crashing and crashes can be expensive.

you won't grow out of the 30 that quickly, I've seen vids of 30's being thrashed all over the place. A 50 will probably be a better option as the manuevres can be done easier than with a 30.

Find out what people are flying at your club and the heli that you can get parts for..it helps when other people can help you.

They both have advantages and disadvantages. Over all I prefer belt drive, even my 90 Avant tail is belt driven.
