Hello,

I bought an kyosho nexus 30 in ebay, and I received it last week.
In the ad, it looked so fine !

Today, after assembling the main blades, I think something is wrong.
Please, take a look in the pictures, its better than any words.

The blades are so " down " , I dont know if its correct or not , because every heli I see, the blades are straight.
Can the wood blades be heavy ?
Let me know what is wrong, and what is needed to do, please.

Sorry, but I`m really a newbie in this hobby. I`m training in real flight for 2 months, and now, I`m disappointed with this :-(

Your helicopter has "independently flapping" blades. Most of the smaller helis you see in this forum have blades that flap together on a fixed feathering spindle. The newer Kyosho Nexus 30's that I have seen also have blades that flap together--that is, not like yours.
It's just a different type of head--but I don't know if it belongs on your heli.
Don't worry about it. Go fly. Stand at a safe distance.
Let us know if it flys apart.

Its the Nexus F type, or flapping head, thats normal. They fly very smooth, the down side is they arent the best for aerobatics or botched auto rotations due to they can flap down too far and smack the boom but for basic aerobatics, scale flight and learning they are fine.

The biggest down side for the Nexus is parts availability.

I had a Nexus too and it never looked like that. It looks to me like your rubber dampers are worn or missing.

I have a Nexus 30 as well my blades are not like that?? Do get on e-bay and order the metal starter cone those stock one are no good.

There's two types of heads. One is a solid axle design and one with each blade having its own axle thats free to flap and set its own coning angle.

Can anyone tell me the correct high and low needle settings for the OS 32 sx that came stock in my Nexus 30. I'm new to the Heli world and this is my first one. I was hovering like 20 feet up motor quit, slammed to the earth and just broke the landing gear. I have replaced, but since I can not get the motor to fire? I started moving needles and now I cannot get right. The motor ran fine until this event. I have replaced plugs,checked the tank lines and she's not happy. I've been putting the low 2 turns out and thehigh 2 1/2 out from closed.Any suggestions?
