I am looking for a good electric Heli to fly in my backyard (I have 2-1/2 acres) that can handle moderate wind well.
I have $1,000 to spend (can squeeze a couple of hundred more if needed) I already have 2 radios (Futaba 6XHS and Airtronics RD6000) and a couple of good gyros.
I have been looking at the T-Rex 600, any good?
What else is out there?

I would definatly go with a t-rex 450se. That is a smaller heli and if you want a really good heli, go with the t-rex 600 (twice the size). They are both extremly easy to fly. Your radios should be fine with these helis and you can find parts almost every where. hope this helps

Agreed... The cost of batteries is the only thing that has stopped me from getting the 600 myself. It's like having to buy all of fuel up front. I do plan to get one sooner or later however. It's a nice heli for sure!
