Update : Put in 7 batteries off stick time and almost got the take-off, hover dialed. Broke a main blade ($6.00) and cracked a skid(easy fix with CA glue), man this pretty addicting. Thinking about flying all day now.

I am just getting started. I ordered the Falcon 3d. I also got the Realflight 3.5. Man, Without a simulator I would have no clue. I have already started to get the feel for these things with only 3 hours on the sim. I am hoping by spring I have some knowledge on at least to take off and land without crashing too much

the micro's are very hard to fly due to their inherant instability afforded to them by there small size.

when you move up to a larger heli like a raptor it will be a lot easier

Does anyone know if there are any upgrades available for my heli? Was tighting my blades last night and I broke the upper rotor head plate that the screws thread into.

Flying an RC heli is like trying to balance a ping-pong ball on the end of an extended Tx antenna.

Depends what heli you have...

I would put it like this. Little fp's (Walkera Dragonfly #4): balancing on a broom stick, Little cp's (E-Flite Blade CP): balancing on a baseball bat, medium cp's (Align T-Rex 450, Kyosho Caliber 3): balancing on a cricket bat, big cp's (Align T-Rex 600, Kyosho Caliber 5/90): balancing on a tennis raquet.
