I would like to buy an inexspesive flight simulator and was wondering how accurate the Esky sim. is at $30.00. I know it won't be the best but is it good enough to get a feel for flying? I've been flying coaxial for a couple of months and I'm ready to make a move up. Thanks for any input!

Do this: Purchase the Esky controller(make sure you get the 2007 version it is USB 2.0) (I got mine on ebay $25 shipped) then purchase the Clearview [link=http://rcflightsim.com/]FlightSim[/link] . It's only $30.00 the graphics are excellent and the aircraft parameters are adjustable so you make the birds as unstable as you like. FMS blows, it's like commodore 64 all over.
I have used this combo and I'm a new heli pilot since mid january and I'm already doing FFF. A far way from excellent but having fun.
check it out,
john

Thanks for the response. So the Esky controller will work with the Clearview program without an issue? If so that is what I will do. Do you find the Clearview to be realistic compared to actual flying? Thanks again, Mike

I am also using the Esky controller and ClearView.
The Esky controller is much more stable than using the Simulator cable + SmartPropoplus + PPJOY with my Walkera WK-701PCM
If you want to, you can find Smartpropoplus here: http://www.smartpropoplus.com
