Default Which one?

I have been flying R/C planes for about two years. I have had only one major crash and it wasn't my fault (really). I am looking at getting a heli soon and would like some opinions on which one. I have been using Realflight Deluxe for quite a while and can hover farly well.

My hobby shop gave me some prices and I was impressed on how close he got the the interent prices. My choices are:

Kyosho
Caliber 30 w/ OS 32
Concept 32VR w/ OS 32

JR
Venture CP30 w/ probably the OS 32

I also plan to get the Hitec Eclipse 7 w/spectra. That way I can use it with my planes also. I am figuring on the Revolution PZ 200 Gyro.

Which heli would you recommend? And why? Any advice on my setup will be appriciated.

Thank you,
Kevin

The Engine choice is good. I believe the Revolution PZ 200 gyro is Non-HH (heading hold) I would recommend that you save a few more pennys for the GY401 by futaba, which supports HH. I would choose between the Concept and the Venture if you do get the Venture /w CCPM make sure the radio can support 120 degree CCPM mixing functions.

(search on google for even more information)

I fly learning to hover now with the Caliber 30.
This is a very good machine. ARF is easy to build, hard to make a mistake, it has a good manual. I have the os32 with 20C carb. Very easy to tune.
i'm using a old non-HH, mechanical gyro from JR/Graupner; does
what it has to do for me. But will upgrade to HH someday.

The Venture's a decent machine too, bit heavier i think.

But don't get the concept, it's an old thing, it will be easier to get
parts for the Caliber or Venture.

The Concept is a flapping head type if memory serves me you can get boom strikes easier than the solid head designs. I had quite a few rough landings when autoing and had quite a few boom strikes I felt was largely due to the flapping head design..
The Revolution PZ 200 is a non-HH gyro (Piezeo) that hold well, but not a heading hold gyro. I flew with a few of these when the CSM gyro's were first out and had good luck with them..ok if you are strapped for cash, but eventually you would possibly want a better Futaba GY 240 or 401..
Venture or Caliber would be a good choice...My 2c only..

I have a Venture 30, I would get the TT39 over the OS32, a little more power would be nice. I was also looking at the Caliber, but I decided on the Venture for ease of getting parts.

I am not familiar with the gyro you mentioned, I decided on a Futaba 401/9253 combo.
