Default which one to start with

I have been flying airplanes for some time now. This smmer I would like to get in to helis. I came upnon toe deal I just could not pass up. I bought a JR venture Cp 30 and a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30. both of them are ready to fly. Are there any pro or cons to eather one for a starter heli? Can any one reccommend the one I would be beter off starting out with?

The Venture cp has a OS .32 sxh, Jr G410t gyro,

The raptor has a Thunder Tiger .39 and a Futaba Gy401 gyro,

Except for the engine the Raptor is better equipped and there's a lot of info at http://www.raptortechnique.com and parts are everywhere.

Horizon carries the JR stuff so parts availability should be good too so you got two decent helis and either will serve you well.

I have the G410T gyro on one of my T-rex's and it holds the tail rock steady even in a crosswind. Only drawback is you can't switch modes remotely.
The Raptor is fairly easy to build (are you getting the kit or arf ?) but IMO the instructions are not the best.
I have no experience with the JR heli.

either one is a good stable heli. i own a hobby shop and the jr is more expensive. meaning that if it is you firist heli you may want to start with the one that the parts are cheaper...but have both ready incase you get the itch and somthing happens. i would suggest that you get a sim if you dont have one it really helps alot and good luck
