Default Tail rotation on a Dynam Vortex

Hello,

Is there a way to get the tail nailed down on a coaxial type 4 channel. No matter what I do (mixer/trim combinations) I am always flying the tail a little bit. The rotation feels "jumpy" I wish it were a bit smoother. Is that the transmitter (stock Dynam 4 channel) or is there some magic I can run on the heli to get it to turn smoother. Or maybe just a more expensive heli.

You will have to fly all helis. sorry no majic fix here till you get to the big stuff. I would check to see if there is any binding in the rotor head. Do you have an actual rotor propeller on the coaxl?, check this also. The jerky movements are torque related usualy. On and Off and usually not a smooth speed up as with larger birds.

The fun is the flying and learning.

thanks for the response. I am indeed having a rotor head problem. I now know that the feeling in the tail was the pre-curser to my lower rotor head starting to slip. This has led to a problem that I have started a new thread on.

thanks
